A Refuge For Riders And Free Travelers In Hakuba, Japan
Our Shelter is located in Hakuba Valley, the biggest ski area in Japan. Its 10 different ski resorts which are all a short driving distance from the house, offer fun slopes for any level, as well as crazy tree runs and big backcountry lines.
Our warm and cozy house makes you feel like you are at home. We are nestled in a quiet forest full of snow monkeys and kamoshikas (the famous Japanese wild goat). It is perfect to relax and regain energy for the next powder days. Hot springs, also called Onsen are walking distance from our lodge. The Bohemians' Shelter offers different services to make your life easier : Free ski shuttles, Japanese dinners, beer from the tap, ... It is the perfect place to discover Hakuba, its mountains and its bottomless powder !!!
World Class Spot
The Bohemians' Shelter is located in the heart of the Japanese Alps, Hakuba, well known to receive around 10 meters of fresh snow per season.
Through the 10 ski-resorts of the valley, you will find some slopes to accommodate beginners and experts, as well as endless tree runs accessible with the ski lifts.
If you want to earn your turns, we are proud to say that the backcountry terrain in Hakuba is one of the best in the world: dense & deep snow, lots of summits, steep runs, ... Just madness !
Shelter For Riders
Riding every day , was THE main reason that gave us the desire to quit everything to open The Bohemians' Shelter.
We chose Hakuba because we truly believe that it's hell of a good spot to express our self in the mountain. Our goal is to create a warm & cozy place where any rider can come and feel at home.
The mountain is done to be shared and we will be happy to share our humble knowledge about Hakuba terrain.
